started out as dicking about in photoshop after several frustrated attempts to draw, and it started looking like Sandman’s Daniel. So I went in that direction.

messing about with the Darna concept.

Was going for a sort of ‘Maria Makiling’ look, though in hindsight that kinda doesn’t make sense.

Was also wondering about her powerset. Why is she limited to the flying brick type? We’ve got Barbell for that, so why not give her something extra? I was thinking maybe elemental powers, some telepathic/empathic abilities which she can use to calm people down/knock them out (harkening to the Adarna) or something like that. Will come back to this.

Quick sketch to appease the drawing gods, I thought it was interesting enough to post. Might make something more out of it later.
